Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 8, 2026 App: Dovia: Daily To Do List Developer: Cihan Koc Contact: cihankoc41@gmail.com
Overview
Dovia stores your tasks, lists, completion history, reminders, and preferences on your device. Firebase Analytics and RevenueCat process the limited usage and purchase information described below, which can include pseudonymous identifiers.
1. Information We Process
1.1 Your Task Data and Support Requests
You do not need an account to use Dovia. Task titles, list names, subtasks, completion history, and reminder text are stored locally. We do not send that content to Firebase Analytics or RevenueCat.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, and use it to respond to your request.
1.2 Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
When analytics is enabled, Google Firebase Analytics processes information such as:
- Screen views, navigation, and feature-use events
- App sessions and event timestamps
- App version, device type, operating system, and language
- App-instance identifiers and pseudonymous task/event identifiers
- General location inferred by Firebase from masked IP addresses
Optional usage analytics is off by default. You can enable it in Settings → Share usage data after reviewing and accepting the explanation. You can turn it off at any time without affecting free or Pro features. Disabling it stops future app analytics collection and resets local Firebase Analytics identifiers/data. It does not delete information previously retained by Google.
When analytics is enabled, Dovia can share the Firebase app-instance identifier with RevenueCat to associate purchase lifecycle events with the same app installation. This means usage and purchase events can be linked by pseudonymous identifiers, even though we do not require a name, email address, or user account.
Firebase's processing and retention are governed by Google's Privacy Policy and the applicable Firebase service settings.
1.3 Purchases (RevenueCat and Apple)
RevenueCat helps us validate, manage, and restore Dovia Pro purchases. It processes App Store purchase receipts and transaction identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status and expiry, and an app-user identifier associated with the installation. RevenueCat may also process SDK/device information needed to deliver its service.
Apple handles payment information. Dovia does not receive your payment-card details. RevenueCat's processing is described in RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
2. Why We Use Information
We use the information described above to operate the app, understand feature usage, improve reliability, provide support, and manage or restore purchases. We do not sell task data.
Firebase and RevenueCat are third-party service providers. Their processing of analytics and purchase information is separate from the task data that remains on your device.
3. Local Storage, Widgets, and Backups
Dovia keeps task data in local app storage. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets may keep a local snapshot of task titles and completion information in the app's widget storage so they can display it outside the main app. Local notifications are scheduled through iOS.
Device backups controlled by Apple or your device settings may include app data. Such backups are not a Dovia cloud-sync service and are managed separately from the app. Anyone able to access your unlocked device or its backups may be able to access local data.
4. Deletion and Your Choices
Use Settings → Delete All My Data to remove Dovia's active local task/list data and preferences, cancel app reminders, and replace widget content with an empty snapshot. The app then restarts onboarding. Deleting local app data does not remove separately retained device backups, previously collected analytics, or purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat.
Deleting data or uninstalling Dovia does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage subscriptions in iPhone/iPad Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Purchase records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat for purchase restoration, subscription administration, legal obligations, and their respective retention policies.
For questions or requests concerning information we control, contact cihankoc41@gmail.com. For Apple-managed backups or store records, use the controls and support provided by Apple.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this policy as the app or its services change. The Effective Date above identifies the current version.
